Therapy for Individuals and Couples
I use an emotionally-attuned, mindfulness approach for working with adult men and women and all kinds of couples. Therapy is most helpful and change is most possible within a genuine relationship between client and therapist. In this non-judgmental environment therapy becomes a rich and purposeful process for reconciling difficult life experiences, navigating major life transitions and nurturing personal, spiritual and relationship growth.
The core of my work, both individual and couple, is based in early patterns of relating and attachment, and the opportunity therapy provides to co-create new ways of experiencing, thinking and ways of being in relationship. Together we gently notice and move toward increased awareness, deeper understanding and appropriate trust. My style is intensely curious, respectful and kindhearted.
I am a licensed professional and my education includes a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University and specialized training in insight-oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy, object relations, Buddhist psychology and the psychology of meditation, neurobiology and attachment, and Hakomi somatically-based depth psychotherapy.
I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation to answer questions and determine whether we would be a good fit to work together.
